Realwear - Sugiko

Takenaka Corporation, one of the top 5 general construction companies in Japan, released a press release describing their Proof of Concept project utilizing Realwear's wearable computer HMT-1 at their construction sites. The PoC, conducted between November 2020 and June 2021, used Microsoft Teams to connect field workers and remote experts for realtime mentoring. Takenaka achieved reduction in travel costs and necessary time to complete tasks. Takenaka envisions 30-50% reduction in task completion times upon continuous usage of HMT-1s.
