Gakken, one of the top 3 education companies in Japan, released an education smartphone app using MyScript's neural network based handwriting recognition technology.

This was a natural choice for Gakken as elementary and middle school students are not familiar with virtual keyboards and handwriting recognition is a natural and easy to use input method.
